Huffman Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry
In partnership with several Huffman-area churches, VineLife contributes to the food pantry located at First
Baptist Church of Huffman. Local individuals can visit once a month and freely receive for themselves and their family.
A nation-wide ministry implemented at the local level, Family Promise arranges lodging for homeless families
who are trying to find a place of their own. Through local churches, famillies are provided transportation, nightime
lodging at a community church facility, food, a day-center and job seeking assistance. VineLife
Christian Fellowship, in partnership with Family Promise, will open its doors to lodge up to three families for a week,
up to four times a year.
Founders Bob and Teresa Nix serve the Lord through The Abiding
Place Retreat and Conference Center, but they do much more than provide a physical place to hold meetings. They want
to see the Body of Christ "come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to
a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:13. Additionally, they
go "on the road" to hold special events like Come To The River in churches and other locations nationally.
VineLife supports The Abiding Place financially and by hosting events at our facility.
MAP - Costa Rica Marlon and Jessica Obando and their two girls live in Costa
Rica as missionaries. They plant churches, hold Bible studies, minister through music and are planning on reaching out to
the native tribes that live in the mountains and forests. Marlon was ordained by VineLife in 2008 and maintains a close relationship
with Pastor Jeff as a minister and mentor.
Sue
Korthauer's ministry focuses on the people of Moldova. With summer camps, medical missions and a heart for
people, Sue and her team of volunteers show the love of Christ to a part of the world in great need. VineLife has sponsored
a Moldovan family and members have traveled to Moldova on mission trips. If you are interested in supporting the ministry,
please contact Sue directly.
Eddie
and Vilma Brito have been improving the lives of hundreds of children in Africa since 2003. Their goal is to see the
next generation changed by God and given the resources to change their nations - healing nations from the children
up. Eddie and Vilma have many local children's centers which provide food, education, and love to orphans and other
at-risk children. VineLife supports HENM financially on a monthly basis, many people in our fellowship sponsor children
through HENM and some of us have taken several trips to help them physically in their work in Africa, including
the drilling and pump installation for a fresh water well.
